You may not have realized, but this past Saturday was our 1 year anniversary. One whole year! We want to take this time to say THANK YOU for stopping by and reading what we’ve written. We have had so much fun and have loved sharing it with you guys. Let’s take a look back:
Our Top 3 Posts From the Last Year
These are our most viewed posts over the last year. The meatloaf recipe Alyssa did had double the views of any other post! Looks like we can’t get enough of this American classic. Next up was the minion cut out project that Rachel did. How cute is that? I can’t say I’m surprised. Despicable Me has been muy popular with kids this year. Last but not least, was my Pinterest Challenge project – to paint a thrift store lamp. It was a pin I’d seen all over Pinterest and wanted to see how I would like it. I’m glad you liked it too!

I have to say that my favorite project was also the one that had the biggest impact on my day to day life – adding furniture legs to my box spring. There is something about it that makes me feel like maybe I’m a grown up. It’s so nice not to have to flop down to the ground when I get into bed, and I didn’t have to spend a ton of money to get it either.
Rachel
It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but I’ve narrowed it down to two. One food and one craft. I loved the tomato and basil empanadas. My family requests we make them for any special celebration. They’re so easy to make, the shell holds everything together and it’s light too.
My other favorite is the garden lighthouse I made last summer. I loved the customization of it and it’s different. It’s a statement piece in our garden that many people have asked about.
Now that we’ve looked back at our favorites and our most popular posts, I want to take a second to ask you to do us a favor. We would love to hear some suggestions from you for what you’d like to see. Any pin you want to try out, but are too afraid to pull the trigger yourself?
